Anything other than the tail worth eating? I’ve only had fried gator tail, which was surprisingly delicious.

Tail is the best and legs are okayish. If you’re going to eat them I’d recommend just doing the tail.

Yeah, I’ve been researching this for a couple of years. I think this year my schedule might align to make it happen. We’ll see how dog training is going. I have a fall test for my pup, and this hunting trip would be a significant time commitment.

Regardless, it is going to happen in the next couple of years for sure.

I’m getting into the Montana muzzleloader season. It’s been fun messing with some hawken style rifles. I’m going to try and get some thing it this upcoming fall.

Hopefully draw my first bull elk permit here in WA and eradicate some serious quantities of whitetails in MO with my dad. Plus try and get back into muzzleloader deer again.
