HAMSKEA rest timing

I put a hamskea r7 on my Mathew’s arc 30. The timing is difficult to achieve. It reaches full height just shy of the 50% mark in the power stroke. That’s tied to the limb near the axel. Ideally it would be up after the 50% mark. I’ve read that these will break in and then start to be up later in the power stroke.
Any experience with this rest/bow would appreciated, or any other hamskea break-in experience.

Having the cord tied near the axle
Is going to have it come up sooner in the draw cycle. If you’re trying to time it the same as you would a cable driven rest that’s not how to try and set a limb driven rest up. By design limb driven rest will be up at around the first 6” of the draw cycle and stay up until about the same time when the bow is fired. And there’s no break in period with the Hamskea. The only thing that has any break in is the activation cord. It’ll have some stretch and need to be retightened. That’s it.

Went through all of this with the R7 on my Arc 34 trying to make everything perfect. To save you from pulling your hair out, tie it as close to the axle as possible and shoot it.

Thanks. I knew about the cord stretch from a previous setup. I had read on another thread about break-in but couldn’t recall that happening to me last time around. I guess it’s not expected.

Thanks. Thats what I did. It’s a bit disappointing that I cannot adjust timing. It’s not hamskeas fault, it’s a result of my particular bow/draw/limb deflection.
