So it actually ends up being $911 off once you check out and you still pay shipping and tax. Appreciate the heads up, ordered a set!

I hadn’t looked there, but cameraland is always good to deal with and they have the same deal I see.

I’m gonna compare them to my current unit which is the Meopta Optika LR 8x50s. I’m sure the Meopta image is going to be a fair bit better and it’s been a reliable range finding unit for 3 years.

The biggest thing for me is the real time on demand ballistics being displayed. Going to use them and practice with them this winter.

If I really need to have a “good image” I’ll throw my soon to buy NL pures on the tripod and glass away. The Revics will be for quick shotgun glassing and as a killing tool not so much a “great glass bino” is the thought.

Didn’t you say in the other thread that you didn’t need ballistics and that’s why you were so happy with the meoptas?? Or was that primarily a price vs function justification? Having used my revics all season I like them a fair bit. Definitely not the best glass but I never felt held back by them, other than thinking to myself my swaros look “better”.

No sir. I’ve wanted on board ballistics for a few years now but have been getting by with the meoptas and my quick charts hard dope without issues.

Going to use onboard ballistics and see the improvements with timers.

Gotchya, I know they allowed me one shot this year that I don’t think would have happened if I was using separate units or referencing a chart. I think you’ll like them for what they are

Thanks a bunch. I’ll be posting up some videos showing the difference.
