The endex features the gen 2 of the nxt action. We call it NX2. About 5 oz lighter and reduced bolt lift 40 percent. New trigger. 2pos safety. Nexus gets an update in September.

8.5-9.5 lbs all in for a hunting gun is perfect. Light enough to carry even for a child and makes the gun MUCH more shootable.

I hope we look back on the 2015-2025 era of everyone needing a “sheep rifle” and laugh sometime soon.

Or just you? The one internet shooter who can shoot a magnum cartridge in a 5 lb rifle and a 9 lb rifle with the same repeatability shot for shot day in and day out?

Man, you are the king of big numbers… “hundreds” and “thousands”. You kill hundreds of game animals every year and shoot with thousands of people, thousands of rounds etc. Every post you make involves hundreds and thousands and millions, really big numbers to give your opinion more credibility than others. It is almost like you are trying to compensate for something. You really are the star of your own movie. Keep throwing out those big numbers brother!!

Johnny's ability to make first round hits on small targets at distance is one of the more well documented phenomena on this forum. There's plenty else to quibble about but I wouldn't call this particular user's shooting skill into question.

So I used to chase the lightest weight rifle possible. Gunwerks can virtually build anything you can think of. They know building a rifle the lightest possible would be sellable, but you know what is more sellable. Giving someone who has never shot over 600 yards pinging steal on the first round with a magnum rifle.

There is a huge difference shooting a 6.5 and below vs shooting a 7 cal and above long range. They are selling confidence. The product happens to cost more because it is Ferrari quality. If you ever owned a gunwerks it would be hard to go to something lesser quality.

Also anyone wondering if gunwerks will support gen 1nexus. I can say they support any rifle built by them. There is a couple guys there you can text and receive support in a few hours or less. Everyone raves about Exo customer service but gunwerks is in the same tier as well imo.
