gun-bearer type system for non-hunting backpack?

I'm looking for a system to carry my gun hands free like the gun-bearer, but that will work with a non-hunting pack. Specifically i'm using an arc'teryx naos 70 - here are some pics of the hip belt and shoulder straps. I've been heavily considering a kifaru or stone glacier pack after my last few days out, but the Naos isn't a bad hunting pack - its completely waterproof, has some long pockets on the front, and will carrry a heavy load well enough. Only thing I can't figure out is how to carry my rifle - absolutely hate trying to hike steep ass terrain and side hill deadfall with the sling. The pack does have compression straps but that catches a lot of branches with the rifle up if i'm trying to move through timber. The gun-bearer seems perfect but I watched a video of how it attaches and it needs straps and buckles I don't seem to have. Any other similar systems that allow you to carry hands free?

I believe you could adapt the Stone Glacier gun bearer, it attaches to the pack for the part that hold the rifle stock so no need to try to attach to your belt.

Or flip it back like this and use the pack straps to hold it tight to the pack.

Thanks, just ordered one. And if it doesnt work with the pack, screw it, i'm buying a stone glacier pack

The Kifaru gun bearer just worked excellently for me on a 14 day wilderness hunt with my Osprey Aether.

It has a universal velcro loop for the hip belt and a universal velcro loop for the shoulder strap. I'm not sure I understand how it would not work on any backpack with a hip belt.

Yep, I use the Kifaru universal gun bearer on my Exo pack. It'd work fine with any pack that doesn't have PALS webbing on the belt.
