F&G alerts hunters and recreationists of a confirmed grizzly sighting north of Salmon

The bear was photographed by a hunter’s game camera on May 14 and clearly identified as a grizzly. It is not known if the bear is still in the area.

They wander across from MT all the time especially during breeding season, then they head back over

Chatted w a rancher last fall near Wisdom. Said he sees them more than he would like to. Been hunting North of Salmon for 30 years. Have never seen one or and sigh. Hope that continues…
