Grayboe Halo

Has anyone put their hands on the new Grayboe Halo stock with their umc. Considering one for a Savage 110 LA for a fairly cheap option for a stock/chassis. Since the 110 LA is pretty limited on what it’s compatible with.

I am considering this for a Savage SA, I'm torn with the Halo vs the Flagstaff, the Halo stock seems much better suited with a higher comb etc, but the fore end seems less user friendly with getting ARCA closer to action.

I pulled the trigger on the halo. Will be nice when they get the length of pull addition released

The halo is on my shortlist of stocks but I really wish they had been able to run the m-lok rail all the way to the mag well for a full length arca.

Should post some pics when your all set up. How's the fitment with the the action? Would you feel comfortable mounting drilling and permanently mounting an arca rail between the front of the action and the mlock?

I got one for an old rem 700 I have. The UMC fit well but i had to alter the trigger guard since i had a jewel trigger on and it wasn't fitting well. Besides that its about what you would expect. Haven't shot it yet but it fits me well from what i can tell dry firing it. As some one else mentioned I wish the mlok on the bottom was longer so I could run both arca and pic rail.

UMC fits good after doing some minor adjustments due to having a sharp shooters trigger. The halo itself seems promising dry firing, haven’t gotten it out yet to shoot. I will order some length of pull adjustment pieces when they get those finished.

I’d also like to see results. Not many options for a Ruger American long action. Gun as it sits is amazingly accurate, but the flimsy forend has annoyed me for 12 years. I’m hoping this polymer is much stiffer, then I’d pick one up. I’d also like to know what the trigger reach is like on this stock. I prefer as close as possible with my short digits.
