Hey all,

I’m looking to pick up a stock that’s inlet for a rem 700. These three companies all have a offering I like when it comes down to price and weight of the stock. Just looking for some real world feedback from anyone who has used one. Interested in any inlet issues, action screws being to short or long and or feed issues caused by this (I believe the tikka guys had some issues with the AG).

Thanks

I have an AG and a Grayboe. I would buy the AG over the Grayboe. Grayboe feels cheap to me. Both of mine are inlet for rem 700

What AG do you have? I’m looking at the sportsman or privateer specifically.

I have 2 builds in progress, both with Mesa's. After handling a buddies rifle with one it was a pretty easy decision for me, fit and feel was perfect. CS was great to deal with, dead on the estimated time (4 wks from time of order) and gave me a discount on my second order.

I bought Mesa for my rem 700. 5 weeks from order to my door. $75 off with a code that they offered when I called to order. Rem factory btm metal fit like a glove but I didn't drop in the action. Weight was 25 oz. and they cut the barrel channel for my #3 Bartlein. Smith still has it.

I have an AG for a 700 and a Mesa for a Tikka. Both are of excellent quality. As I understand it, AG makes the blanks for Mesa and Mesa does the inletting.
