Anyone used the Gray Wolf Woolens boot blankets? Specifically interested in warmth, weight, and packability. I’m looking for an upgrade to my Arctic Shields. The Arctic Shields worked ok but I poked a hole in them and I could go for something warmer.

Also interested in any other boot blanket recommendations.

I bought a pair of Wiggy's mukluks last year and used them for treestand hunting in the PA late season. I packed them in and put them over whatever boots I was wearing (both uninsulated and 7mm neoprene rubber boots) and was able to test them for about 3-4 hours in 15 degree F with zero movement and my feet stayed warm.

They are superior to the Arctic shield style overboots because they have the warmest climashield insulation Wiggys offers and they zip up to just below the knee.

I replaced the string lace with an elastic cord and pull tab to make them easier to pack. For the value they provide, I think they are reasonably packable.

I was actually eyeballing the Wiggy's overboots, but the weight and bulk is a bit much for a backpack hunt.
