Well it’s official government is trying to over reach and start playing games they have been playing out west for year in the Great Lake state. Hunting has been under stack for years and it’s happening again. I don’t care where you are from if of you don’t think this is coming to every state you better think again we all need to fight every fight together as a community regardless of state lines.

Yes. And the numbers continue to rise and they are become more of a problem every year for livestock and wildlife. The wolves up north that we also cant shoot Continue to push coyotes south. And they are not far behind. They continue to hammer on the deer herd so much that’s it’s hard to find deer in the UP and now they are closing coyote season down during the summer also fawn drop. That’s only to going to increase pressure and mortality on fawns in the southern part of the state. It’s mismanagement and the government pushing more anti hunting laws and BS it’s small in the big picture but if it’s looked over it’s another win for Anti hunters and another loss for the hunting community.

It follows the DNR's plan, which is apparently appeasing insurance companies by killing all the deer in Michigan. Between all the seasons and the number of tags you can buy, increasing the number of 'yotes helps decimate the deer population. After all, the less roadkill you have, the cheaper it is for the insurance companies.

The NRC is the far bigger issue here in Michigan, not the DNR.

Fewer deer and should help knock down/contain CWD.. I'm not a CWD fatalist but sickness isn't a good thing. Its a sign that something needs to change

Another one for you guys, this is the same government that has decided it’s going to have the DNR round up and gas “problem geese”. So a bird that hunters from Canada to the far south have the opportunity to harvest and eat, or donate to other hungry family’s. Will now just be killed! Just because they are a problem to some complaining rich Karrens that live on local lakes and golf courses. Never mind the fact us hunters spend thousands of dollars on licenses, fuel, decoys ext also stimulating the Economy for the opportunity to shoot our daily limit. And then not have more then the possession limit in our freezers. Now this bs government is gunna make it harder to be successful. since they plan to round them up when they can’t fly and kill them by the thousands this summer. Somehow these idiot anti hunters think this is better option then hunt and harvest. Ignorance on so many levels It makes my head hurt!

IMO CWD has been around for ever and is a control method put here by the creator if it all. It’s a check and balance system we need to not be apart of some years it’s bad and most years it’s nothing. Man gets in the way and then we have problems.
