Door bell rang earlier, my nomad showed up. Super excited, but still waiting on my frame. Anticipation is killing me.

You'll be cutting it close before season. You should talk to Angie and see if they will do a layaway with a deposit or something so you get it in plenty of time.

Should be unless a huge rush hits from others with the same idea. Not sure what current lead times are so you may be just fine.

Hawkhunts , I'd get it ordered if you can swing it. Every year there are guys trying to buy one in the classifieds because they waited too late. Wait times can go to three months in a hurry if they get a rush or a military unit order to fill. Besides that the kifaru frames are very adjustable and the Nomad has a bunch of ways to use it. A month or three to tune it and figure out all the ways to load and lash things is nice. Call and work with them . I would bet Angie could put you in line and charge you at a later date but I can't speak for them. It would never hurt to ask.

Ordered a new T1 Sunday with a Mid-June delivery date. I would guess the wait will gradually get longer as we get closer to seasons...

Got a shipping notice today, which means duplex frame, belt pouches, grab-it II. Finally I can put all the pieces together. Excited is an understatement.

I find it funny that kifaru would ship you the bag without the frame. You are forced to just hug it while waiting longingly at the door for a frame to put it on. They probably giggle every time they do that to somebody.

I giggled a little bit just reading that. It would be downright evil torture to get one without the other. I'm not sure what I would have done had that happened to me!

Well it is actually my fault. As the military doesn't pay me much, so I just bought piece by piece over the course of 2 months. But do to the wait time didn't want to hold off and buy all at once.
