Got the Itch

I've been a happy Hoyt shooter for 20 years. I love the 30" ATA bows like the spyder or carbon spyder. I have been really happy with Hoyt customer service as well, but a lot of that comes down to the shop you buy it from. This is my 2014 setup.

That is a good lookin rig sir. A good friend of mine has had excellent customer service with Hoyt and he recommended the dealer he bought it from to me because they carry elite. He had some limb issues and nobody asked any questions, they just fixed his bow.

Now it's time for the accessories. Anybody recommend anything in particular as far as sights, rests, etc.

Sight- Montana Black Gold Pure Series. I have the Ascent 3 pin. Felt like 3 pins with a slider gave me the best of all worlds. 3 pins for the close stuff, slider for the long stuff.

Quiver- Tight Spot. Being able to move the quiver to assist in stabilization has been a bigger deal than I thought it would be.

Rest- I picked an AAE DOA. It's been reliable and accurate. I'm indifferent to it. It does its job perfectly and I have no complaints but I think there are a lot of options that would have served me just as well.

Stabilizer- I've had the best results on my current bow with an 8" Bee Stinger Sport Hunter. Stabilizers are pretty personal though.

Black gold sight , limb driver rest and elite everything else. That's how I'm rolling any way. That limb driver tunes nice on the energys

Also don't forget to change out the cable guide to a limbsaver. Not sure why elite doesn't just have those on there to begin with since they have limbsaver everything else on there

Good choice....

Look at axcel on sights too... No sliders, but rock solid and very adjustable.

I use QAD rests. Have had good luck with them and like the fact that when you let down, the rest stays up

I converted from a 20+ year hip quiver user to a tight spot last fall. Wow, in my mind it is worth the price.

Stokerized or B-stinger on stabs for me. I run the 10"/8"sidebar combo.

Good luck with the new rig.

I put a Barefoot anti-torque cable rod/guide on my Elite.

Didn't like the curved factory grip plates, replaced with a medium Torqueless grip.

Custom MBG sight. Micro adjust Surge head with 4 pins (20-50), on an Ascent slider base. Bottom 50yd .010" pin used for >50yd dialed shooting.

QAD Ultra rest, Tightspot Quiver, SS1 offset stabilizer

Enjoy your new bow!!!
