My wife showed up with a pair of mystery pants. Dark gray. What outstanding pants!! I have the Eddie Bauer pants Costco pants, kuiu attack in street gray as well. The zions are the best. They even look the best. i wore them for a few days before I dug The tag and label out of the recycle bin to find out what pants they were. Zions! This fabric has turned my blue jeans into my wardrobe dinosaurs. I never wear them any more.

I have 5 pair. I wear them almost every day. They are great everyday pants, and great in the field too. They don't handle thorns and briars well, but otherwise fantastic.

Yup, they're great. I don't have a complete set (all colors) quite yet but I'm working on it.

Seriously - denim was the "technical" fabric of the day. If you gave a pair of Pranas or similar pants to a coal miner or cowboy in the 1800s, they'd lose their mind.

Just got my first pair the other day also. I am about to cull all my blue jeans!

I've compared several of the popular non hunting pants mentioned on this forum. For me the PraNa stretch Zions are #1. I like the Kuhl Renegades alot as well but prefer the fabric of the Zions. For the price, the Union Bay Costco pants are a good deal but the Zions fit me better and the material feels nicer. I've also had issues with the zippers on the Costco pant pockets.

I never thought I'd use the buttons to roll the pant legs up but I actually did use that feature this past summer while fishing/floating a river and it worked pretty well. Even when not being used, the buttons don't bother me like the similar button on my First Lite Kanabs does.

Kneeling on that button of the first gen Kanabs will get your attention for sure. Love my Zion's as well. The green matches Kuiu Verde camo perfectly (enough) so I still look fashionable in the woods! :)

This is a great reminder. The company I work for gets Columbia employee store passes all the time and another one just came up today. I'll definitely be looking for a set (or two) of these.

I like Prana Brion a lot as well. Same fabric but with a little slimmer cut and no cargo pocket. I wear them to work and they look like chinos or regular pants rather than outdoor technical clothing.

Nice, thanks for posting those. I wasn't aware of them but I'll definitely be getting a pair or two for daily office attire.

I have not found anything these pants cant do. I wear them fishing in the summer, hunting in the fall, under a shell skiing in the winter, and of course I wear them around town daily. I think I still own a pair of jeans though. Somewhere.

I picked up a pair of these at REI today. Was going to get the Zions, but came away with these (Brions) and a pair of REI Screelines.

I too drank the Koolaid and have to say the positive reviews have been spot-on. The fit, construction (stitching) and pocket placement of the Zions are near perfect. The material and cut and features are very similar to my other favorite pants; Cabela's Trekking pants.

How do these compare to Kuiu Attack pants?

i have two pairs of attacks. plain gray and Verde. my gray ones seem thicker and stiffer. the Zions seem closer in weight to the Verde pair, although my Verde Attack feel thicker. i have damn near shredded my Verde pants chasing couse deer.

the fit of the Zions are way better. same size and my Attacks are boxy feeling..like mom jeans. :) (so i've heard)

I agree with this statement and agree my grey attacks feel thicker than my camo. The only thing I don't love about the Prana's are the bell bottoms. I have TONS of different outdoor hiking pants and these have the widest bell bottoms by far. I'm wearing the new REI Screelines today and have to say I'm very impressed. If you haven't checked out the Screelines, do so, they are worth a look.

I had to send my order back for a smaller size. They are too baggy in the legs for me compared to my attacks in the same size (32x32) if that helps anyone
