Received an unexpected $5k as a thank you of sorts from my employer on top of other bonuses. I told my wife I was going to stick it in savings and the Wife said I should spent it on a gun or something. Thoughts? We are doing well financially and have a healthy savings account and retirement. I have everything I need and am pretty deep into the wants. I thought about maybe a custom rifle of some sort, but I have some that I really like already:

-223
-6arc
-6mm CM
-308 (browning bar dbm)
-6.5 PRC
-280 AI

All wear some sort of nigjtfforce. None of these are full custom and I could build a custom rifle or pick up a gunwerks. I have always wanted a Barrett Fieldcraft - so I could do that.

I was thinking maybe a nice handgun (all I currently own are glocks), like a Staccato maybe?

I just picked up a Kowa 66a a couple months ago, so am pretty set with a spotter, but am currently using the Kowa 10.5x44 binos. Mayne grab some NL Pures or the new 12x42 EL range TAs?

I don’t have a nice semi auto shotgun anymore, I mostly hunt upland and have been using a browning cynergy feather, so maybe a new shotgun is in order?

Anyway, what recommendations do y’all have?

Buy a suppressor if you don’t have one then book a hunting trip as most have mentioned.

Or I will sell you my tikka 6.5 prc with trijicon credo and custom paint job, 1 year old for $5k, I will deliver to your door.

Bespoke custom fitted shotgun from Upland Gun Company. They fit you first then make it to order. Ideally a 20ga double, pick your favorite barrel orientation. $5k should get it done with a wood upgrade.

I sure wouldnt be asking a buncha dorks on da innernet how to spend it :ROFLMAO:

Would probly sit on it and and add a few bucks to the pot as I could. Getting close to what a woods beater wheeling rig is going for and snows about to fall......
