Recently got a pair of GoRuck rough runners and still getting use to them since they are different from any other running shoes I’ve had.

Thinking of getting a pair of the Mackall all terrain rucking shoes next. Anyone have these and what’s your thoughts?

Thanks.

Tagging in….. I usually wear running shoes if on pavement, trail runners for off road.

Recently got the Makalls. I trained in them all summer doing gym workouts/hiking. Then wore them for an entire archery hunt season, and now are my daily drivers. Love them!

How are the different from other running shoes? I’ve been looking at them for a bit, I was thinking they could be a hat I’m looking for.

I would say the tread is super aggressive and feels slightly bulky. Of all the activities I do in them. Running would be the least favorite. I would keep runs under 3 miles of running in them.

Right on. Are they cushioned like a regular running shoe? The used to make one that had a more firm midsole more meant for rucking workouts than for running.

Yea, they are bulkier with a wide toe. Yea, right now im going to use them as workout shoes (lifting) and doing intervals on the treadmill (run at a flatter angle then walk at a steeper angle).

Following I saw they make an 18 in their training shoe.
Yep I wear an 18. Hard to find any good shoes much less specific use shoes.
