I’ll echo the other recommends for Herradura, and I’ll throw in Hussong’s. I’m a big fan of their reposado and platinum anejo.

Bacanora. It is a Mezcal from Sonora Mexico. It is a cousin to tequila. We drink it on our hunting trips to Pitiquito Sonora. A little goes a long way.

Generally speaking yes a reposado is aged for a less amount of time so not as "peety" with a blanco being the cleanest. A good quality blanco will be very easy to sip with what I call the cleanest taste of the agave.

Yuck. I wouldn't like that either. I don't want any tequila to remind me of scotch. My preference for Case Noble is the Extra Anejo. But, I've had all of their offerings and never had one I didn't like. In fact, I just finished off a bottle of their Anejo last night. And it was great.

Casamigos reposado is a fantastic sipper. I prefer it to the anejo.
Teramana anejo is also pretty good, but i'll take the Casa every time.

this. Casa Amigos is very good.

I do like to sip Tequila Ocho silver. I have never tasted the reposado tho.

I just picked up a bottle of the casa amigos tonight at Costco. I’ll have to open it here shortly. They had bottles of 1942 for $120 and I was damn tempted to get it, I saw it online at BevMo for something like $340!
Just checked on that 1942 at BevMo and it’s $147, not sure what I was looking at for $340.

You haven’t lived until you’ve tried “bath tub tequila” at least that’s what a guy from work calls the tequila his cousin bootlegs in Mexico and they smuggle back every year! Last time I had some was out of an old Coke bottle.
