good progressive press

Powder measures of all brands can struggle with stick powder. Some sticks flow better than others, like benchmark.

But you don't have to use the powder measure with a progressive.

Yeah, priming and indexing(which are often tied together) are the main pain points in any progressive, with probably case and bullet feeders after that, maybe powder drop for rifle depending on powder.

The window of error for the priming systems is pretty low, the press has to index almost perfectly, to align the case with the primer ram, for a smooth prime on the press.

I have heard good things on the APEX 10. And if I had the money, and the need to crank out 2-3K pistol monthly that's what i would have. Looks dreamy to operate.
Indexing has never given me issues with the Apex once I set it. The issue with priming tends to be if a primer pocket is too tight and didn't get a really good swage (shooting a lot of formerly crimped 5.56)

After using Lee, RCBS, and Hornady powder measures, the Mark7 one is a dream. It's insanely smooth--just like the press.
