Good method for gauging primer pocket "looseness"

Anyone have a good method for gauging when a primer pocket becomes too loose other than feeling when they seat the next fresh primer? Can you measure with calipers? Is there a gauge you can buy?

hey, you do what ya gotta do. and sometimes ya get desperate.



there used to be tool that you dropped the case over and there was a punch that you put over the primer pocket and hit it to shrink the pocket a little.
