I'm partial to MeatEater with Steven Reinella. On the Sportsman Channel, which my local provider doesn't carry.
I out grew the "Monster" shows years ago when I found out hunting didn't happen that way. Just my opinion.
Western hunter is my favorite. I really like fresh tracks with randy newberg as well. I still like eastmans when they are US hunts. Another good one is Fred eichlers Easton bowhunter show. Out of these, I usually watch one per week or so.
I agree with Browtine. Same order. I also watch life below zero and Yukon men. Both of those are non hunting but are really good outdoorsmen shows. Sports Afied is pretty good. The sheep foundation is a sponsor.
Solo hunter is really the only show I like to watch, the film it as it happens and how it happens and they are not always successful.
For entertainment and decent tech stuff John Duddley's "Nock On TV" show isn't bad. Good guy and he does a lot of hunts here in Alberta in the general areas I used to know/hunt.
Wish we got Meater eater and Western Hunter up here.
The programs are purposely designed for a certain market niche so prime-time TV targets the masses. For every high country sheep hunter on this site, there are a thousand ground-sluicing turkey hunters out there.
