Good, affordable hunting boots

I've been wearing Haix Scouts for about a year now, and I have to say I am very impressed with them. The 1st gen Scouts are on clearance and IMO they are a very good value for a middle-weight hunting boot. I plan to buy another pair just to have once I wear mine out.

The stock insoles are very good. However with my PF I dropped in a pair of Green Superfeet, and these Scouts are now the only shoes I can wear all day without killing my feet.

I think that's fairly common for discontinued clearance items though. The 2.0 version are another $75 more but IMO still worth the asking price.

Says they are manufactured in Croatia. I think Haix is a German-based company.
