The Sig 10k and the Swaro TA are very quick on their data readout or at least mine have been….almost instantaneous whereas the Lecia Pro ‘s are close to that 4 sec delay which is ok for hunting but not when your on the clock.

Mmmm. I, and several others I know actually prefer the original Geovid and new Geovid R’s to the 2700 and even 3200’s. Objectify when sitting side by side trying to see the difference the higher end Geovids are better, but when actually using them, several of us prefer the Geovid R’s. Only the new Pro’s are “better” in my preference.
I know this is a bit of resurrection, but this comment has stood out for me and I’ve never seen it repeated. Can anyone chime in on this point? Is it really the case? Currently looking at used Geovids mostly eBay, there’s a good price on a 2700 (40804) with a bino harness. But used current model HD-R (40812) are cheaper, if they’re genuinely better glass (which completely contradicts Leica and retail stores), with total range on HD-Rs being fine for me - they’re obviously a much better buy.
