Foo Fighters one of the best live performances I’ve ever seen, and I’m about to hit the big 50 and have seen a lot of shows. My wife and I saw them most recently in Albuquerque in August last year. Taylor was very talented, and I hope his past demons aren’t what ultimately lead to this. People pass all around us all the time, and at any moment our next breath could be our last. He leaves behind a wife and children, heartbreaking to say the least. Taylor filled very big shoes sitting behind the drums for someone like Dave Grohl, and did a superb job.

Yeah, saw that right after my previous post. It’s sad these days that we aren’t surprised when we hear these stories.

His toxicology report was interesting.

I saw a report his heart was enlarged as well. But yeah, drugs have been, are, and will always be bad for you - even famous rock and rollers.

I’m pretty bummed about it. They were on my short list of bands I loved and haven’t seen

Went to their concert in Boise back in 2017. Was a good show. Sad to hear this as I always liked the Foo Fighters.

That was a damn good show! What a tragic loss to the music world. I’ve been a Foo fan forever. I seen them at Bogey’s in Boise in’95.

I can only imagine how demanding it must be to do concerts night after night and then hit the road and do it again, and again and again. But these performers have to find a better way to keep up their energy. He was a walking pharmacy.

When someone dies from drugs it just shows how stupid and phony they really are. I bet his family, mom and dad told him as a young man not to ever do drugs but he wouldn’t listen.

I'm sure your parents and family told you not to do certain things and you still did. What a freaking tone deaf comment.

Literally one of the most ignorant things I've seen in quite a while.

On another note, the guy was hilarious in addition to being a great performer. Bummer to see him go.

Pure ignorance.

Nothing I can find so far indicates that he died as a result of drug use. Antidepressants, painkillers & THC. I've got more than that rattling around in me right now & I haven't taken anything illicit in 20 years.

He was one of the few living musicians I really admired. 😥

Throwing rocks, glass houses and all that.
