Do you have the goats follow you while you are actually hunting, like on a stalk?

I ran into some crazy looking hobo guy with a stick bow one time way deep in the wilderness. His goats were bebopping around all over the place scaring the crap out of my mules. Honestly, looked like a great setup in terms of ease.

He told me that mulies walk up to them like bait, might of been full of shit but that was his claim. I'd go with the sure thing and tie them up way away from where I was starting a stalk.
