My photos turned out way better than what my naked eye saw. It was very subdued in real life.Wee saw the aurora for our first time last night in northern Colorado. It was more visible than I expected, but still pretty subdued compared to a lot of the photos I have seen.
There are 4 more low level, X1 to X7, flares still on their way so quite possibly yes. If the planets magnetic field strength wasn't down 20% this would not be happening. Was last night the only one where it was visible or will it occur again tonight?
