Go cart? SxS??

Oldest is at a point where he needs a go cart or kids SxS. Anyone have any experience with something that’s not a complete waste of $? I want something with a roll cage as we have plenty of side hills and preferably something with a governor.. seems like the stuff we had growing up isn’t around anymore and the ones at tractor supply type stores look like junk

From a suspension side of things stay away from go carts at least with SXS you get some shocks that work. I started our daughter out on a Polaris outlaw 50 before she could touch the floor boards but she did great. Then the time came that she wanted to bring a friend so I bought a Polaris 200 SXS and besides the low clearance of things it got around good and she had lots of fun in it. Matter of fact it's still going strong now after 11 years on it of coarse I don't own it any more but a close friend of the family does and her boy uses it all the time.
