A good trick is to wear latex/rubber gloves underneath your gloves, especially if you have the lighter "shooter" style. That'll help keep your hands dry and warmer.

Merino wool can be a great option for glove liners.
It keeps your hands warm while staying breathable, even when damp.
I like using merino liners under outer gloves, you still get good dexterity and feel, especially for handling gear.
Just my opinion, but it’s a solid combo for wet conditions.

How do the extreme cold weather version work for you? these look like they would be good for snow detail at work. I got mild frostbite on a finger this year at five below while shoveling. How are they at those cold temps? I've tried some other gloves similar to those in the past but they fell apart.
