It appears that Glock will be discontinuing all current double stack models and replacing them with a new "Glock V" platform.

Effective 07/01/2026The legislation our next wannabe Democrat presidential Candidate Newsom just enacted to outlaw Glocks in CA is not due to the mags....it claims that the trigger bar design is easy to covert to a machine gun.
True, look it up. Newsom has the full backing of the Dem party....and he has single handedly wrecked everything he touches. I think the law takes effect next year.
Just wait til the Gov of NY says "hold my beer" and one ups him.....California sucks.
It's frustrating and embarrassing to the human race that there are lots of people out there like him. It’s very frustrating to have such an ignorant governor.
Or COJust wait til the Gov of NY says "hold my beer" and one ups him.....
Polis will say hold my apple martini and then try to one up… remember stack you AR’s high and deep before August 2026Or CO![]()
there's several pieces of legislation that were signed, some effective 1/1/26 some effective 7/1/26I originally heard it was 7/1/26 but then heard it’s effective 1/1/26. Glock is no longer shipping anything to California from what I was told today. It’s very frustrating to have such an ignorant governor.
I honestly doubt it at this point.Let me guess: gun owners will go out and try to scoop up all the old models and create artificial shortages and drive the price up from $500 to $800+ in a matter of a few weeks?
Anyone who would pay 800$ for a Glock….. I don’t even knowLet me guess: gun owners will go out and try to scoop up all the old models and create artificial shortages and drive the price up from $500 to $800+ in a matter of a few weeks?
Does the Cali law cover the gambit of Glock clones that exist today? Haha or are those idiots dumb enough to single out a single manufacturer?
Oh great! I’m sure no pistols like that will ever be used in the commission of a crime again! This is genius! Newsome did it guys it saved the day!!!Yes, it covers pistols with the same design specs called out in the legislation.
Right? Never thought people would pay $500 for Mosin Nagants or $40 for a box of Corlokts but here we are. CrazyAnyone who would pay 800$ for a Glock….. I don’t even know![]()
