Glassing Pad?

I prefer the cut down Therm-a-Rest. It’s nice to be able to fold it thicker on the downhill side of a slope when glassing to flatten your seat out a bit.

I got where I hardly used one elk hunting, cause I didn't sit in one place too long, but I just cut up a Nemo Z seat into 3 pads for upcoming sheep hunt.

Not sure exactly, definitely not enough for me to care. It attaches nicely to a pack by running a strap through the handle hole. It also comes in handy when breaking down an animal on the ground.
