Glassing chair

Looking for recommendations on a low profile, light weight, quick setup and takedown chair for those long sits!

Mountainsmith/kifaru sling chair. I made my own once I found dimensions, literally a 15 minute sew job. I used a piece of 1000 denier cordura and it weighs like 5 oz. This is supported by crossed trekking poles where you sit on the ground. We use our butt pads and it works awesome for supper in camp as well as glassing for hours at a time.

My answer was based on backpacking so if you are not in need of the lightest possible options then there are many other chairs out there.

A 1” foam pad from Bi-Mart for $5 works well for me, I’ve spent dozens of hours on mine. Keeps me comfy in the summer and my butt dry in the winter or rain. I just clip a strap on my pack through the handle.
