i have a couple antelope tags around gillette in october and my wife has decided she is gonna go with me this year. she wont be hunting and is not about outdoors stuff. we are gonna be staying in a hotel in gillette now that she is going. so, is there any great restaraunts, micro breweries, etc that i should take her to after my hunts so we both have a good time. Im sure ive been thru the area but never spent much time there.

This place, Big Lost Meadery, is pretty nice and different. The owner is a really nice guy, unless the one I know sold it.
Rib and Chop is close also for dinner and is usually good. I remember the Gillette one being better than the Cheyenne one.

I stumbled into a pretty decent pizza spot one night when I got into town. Pizza Carrello maybe? Good food, cold beers.

If I ever move to WY it'll be to Gillette, love the place. Little town that has everything.
