Getting a free truck,which one!

Tundra's seem to be quite popular on here, I heard a rumor that the 15 or 16 Tundra was going to be offered with a Cummins Diesel. Anyone have any info or hear anything of the sort?

I have never heard this. I know the Nissan one should be out in the 4 quarter

I have the tundra and would prefer the 30mpg eco diesel. fuel savings could fund a lot of toys. The annual amount of fuel savings would surprise a lot of people. 16mpg vs 30mpg is huge if you drive a lot.

I was just going to write nearly the same thing!! I LOVE my tundra but the fuel economy on it sucks! If it could get mid 20's mpg, there'd be no question in mind to get the Tundra, but with that big of a difference, unless your company is footing the bill for all your fuel, I'd go with the Ram EcoDiesel.

Is the new dodge 3.0L V6 getting 30 hwy? If so that would swing my opinion between diesel vs gas. My local dealer is showing 23Hwy with a quad cab and 4x4 with this motor.

I had driven a Toyota Tacoma since 1999 (both body styles) and loved them - never had any problems. This past year I switched to the Ram 1500 Ram Laramie with Ecodiesel and couldn't be happier. I too have read all the literature about issues with the exhaust system, and black coolant etc etc but I've got 15k on it now without a lick of problems. I do a lot of driving and appreciate the range on these things. Just the other day I drove from CO to MN (1100 miles) and only stopped once for fuel. With the Tacomas I had to stop ever 300 to 330 miles. The Ecodiesel had a lot more get up and go than I had expected and when towing you hardly notice the trailer going up over the mountains. While the 28-30 MPG is realistic and "normal" speeds, I typically drive at 80 MPH and get more like 25 at those speeds. Now that diesel and gas prices have evened up I am completely happy with my decision to go with the Ecodiesel.

The Tundra and Nissn will share the same cummins, Google is your friend and both mfg and cummins have announced this. The Nissan will come out this year as will the duramax Chevy Colorado as 2016 models, the Tundra will be out next year as a 2017 model.

Id get a 3/4 diesel. Powerstroke or cummins, straight pipe her, throw on a smarty on a cummins or a spartan on the ford, and have a truck that will pull anything, gets 20+ mpg and will also haul the mail.

I own and have owned two Tundra trucks. They're awesome. My 2006 double cab is THE best truck I've ever owned. That said, it's not a Raptor. Given the opportunity to buy 'the' truck from a marketing company for a marketing job, my choice wouldn't be a turn key Tundra. Yes, for the everyday family writing a check for a truck, there wouldn't be a question (unless pulling horses) it'd be a Tundra. However, for a 'free' marketing incentive I'd choose a Raptor and never look back.

Seriously, where are you bastards getting these jobs.

Tundra 1794 is what I would get, buddy has one and I would sell my left nut for it. It's a very nice truck.

It is one of the top producing/compensation MLM companies. It's a solid business opportunity that is being offered nationwide. We are always looking for open minded people who want to help share our products and vision. I don't regret one day doing this!

I love the Tundra but the fuel mileage is insane!! I'm loving my current ram but have not had it long. Is there anyone they had longer term experience with Ram?

I know I asked about trucks but anyone had any experience with any of the recent years four door wranglers?

I've ridden in one a couple times, nice, spacious, pretty Spartan inside though, which I liked. The wheel base on it is super wide though, maybe not wider then a full size pickup. That's all I've got.
