I hit a milestone today , mid December I set out to get from 257lbs down to 215. I hit 215 and set out for 200 lbs. today I weighed in at 197 lbs. 60 lbs gone in right at 6 months. All natural thru eating clean and exercise. I never thought it possible , but you put your mind to it and want it , you can get it. 185 here i come

Very nice! Congrats! I can't imagine how good you feel now when compared to being at your heaviest.

As the year comes to an end and others set goals to drop pounds , i look back at were i was at when i posted this , 257lbs to begin the year and start my fitness journey to where i am now at 185ish. All threw hard work and determination its been tough at times , but it can all happen if you want it. This season although i didnt tag out was one of my most memorable ever , i packed to places i never would have thought of prior to this season , just because of the physical shape i was in. You too can do it , set lofty goals and stick to them. This year i will participate in Train to Hunt , spartan race and a few other runs. Good luck with your New Years goals to all , work hard.

Dude I'm super pumped just reading this thread! Congrats!! I too am losing weight through eating right and exercising. I'd like to know more about your journey with the running as I'd like to run a 5K at work in October.

Awesome man. Definitely an inspiration. I just had a baby girl in March so my fitness and diet took a turn to the dad bod. I definitely felt it this past bow season. This is great winter motivation to get off my ass and eat right.

I used an app called map my run . As i look back i could only run 1/4 mile at a time and a mile took me 18 minutes. I just kept going , reading up on running technique . breathing technique was the biggest factor in getting me over the hump. I was able to run a 10k in October and hoped for under a hour.
