What do you guys know about GPO? Just saw them and curious on how they compare to some of the better known companies. Thanks!

GPO was started by Mike Jensen, former president of Zeiss USA. GPO sources from all the same places as everyone else, however, they have superior quality control to most.

I have a friend who had some. At the time he told me they were almost as good as the Swarovskis. I asked him why he didn’t just get the Swarovskis if they were better. He did.

Have some passion hd 8x42hd binos, they're very nice. I don't own swaro, but I've looked through em, the gpos are close. To my knowledge there are ex swaro/zeiss guys there. When comparing the GPO to my Z conquest HD 10x42 the GPO is far clearer and noticeably brighter, colors appear warmer to me but that's always subjective to the individual. My zeiss are going to get sold and I'm gone a get a bigger set of eye, probably GPO 12.5X50!

They are pretty good glass but if you ever want to sell them they have a horrible resale. There is a pair of Passion Hds 12.5s for 599 that have been on my local classifieds for months and they can’t get rid of them.
