It's $30 cheaper?

I know the biggest knock on their regular sized vital (which I own and fully endorse) is the blade not being fully exposed. Looks like they addressed that gripe on the big game. Swapping blades could not be easier.

Might be snagging this today...

I actually like this design better than the havalon, much easier to switch the blades out for me.

I'm a big Gerber fan, with at least a couple dozen of them laying around, but I have always used the Havalon and have collected a huge pile of extra blades for it.

Has anyone found the best source for extra blades for the Gerber?

Same blades as the havalon or tyto. I get a big glass of bourbon and surf veterinary supply websites until I find the best deal on the 100 count boxes of blades.

I have used both a bunch and prefer the Vital.
Prefer the ergonomics and blade change quite a bit better
