Gen 2 send it level on a hunting rifle?

Anyone running a gen 2 send it on a hunting rifle? How do you like it? I normally run an accuracy 1st level on my guns but was interested in the send it.

Area 419 sells a sweet looking mount that mounts directly to their scope rings and mounts it vetically.

I use them in competitions and they work great. For hunting, they’d work just as well as long as you remember to turn it on

They work great for a match rifle but I can’t see their place in a hunting gun. I’d never remember to turn it on.

If your used to a horizontal level I also found it wierd trying to get used to a vertical mount on it. I have mine sticking out horizontally where I would normally look for a bubble.

I’ve been in a mental battle for some time now over how nice it would be to have vs keeping my ride simple and relying on “tech”

Ya I think they the gen 2 turns on automatically now. I could be wrong though.

It turns off automatically.


I don’t use them on hunting rifles. It’s not legal in my state but it’s also unnecessary IMHO. It’s just one more thing to dick around with that most people don’t need to be worrying about.
