Geissele Super 700 Equivalent?

Anyone know why Geissele discontinued the Super 700? Hopefully not a safety issue. I have one 700 and it has a 2 stage Super 700. I like the trigger.

They said it was too costly for them to manufacture I think. So I guess they redesigned it to lower costs. Remains to be seen how the redesign will do.

Is it worth waiting a bit to see what the alleged new super 700 looks like, or just go with this one?

If I needed a trigger now for a 700, I would buy the Mod 22 tactical.
