Gear STOLEN from Pueblo

Man, so sorry to hear. That's a real kick in the pants. I will keep my eyes pealed in case anything pops up on the marketplace locally down here.

Sorry for your loss, hotel theft is a common problem and some areas are worse than others. Pueblo is stereotypically one of the latter.

Ahh Pueblo…
When I needed to go down there overnight for work I rented a car… hard nope on parking a newer truck in a hotel there.

In general as noted the rare times I have hunted using a hotel I carry everything of value into the hotel room (frankly anytime at a hotel I do this it’s just heavier/bulkier when hunting).

This is literally one of the biggest fears I have. I am SUPER careful where I stay when I travel and I have multiple alarms on my truck. But that still wont stop the initial break in smash and grab.

My biggest fear is how I will react when/if I catch someone dirtbag breaking into my truck. It's not going to be good for anyone involved.

Sorry to the OP, as its to late for him. But, this maybe a help to someone else. I have not had to file a claim, so I not speak for that. But, this insurance company seemed really reasonably price for what they offered. If you call, you get an actual person to pick up the phone.

I haven't filed a claim but I have that coverage because adding proper coverage to my homeowners for guns was not economical in comparison.

Yep, and if you stay below $48k, they don't require you to list your items. I think $48k was $175 a year and required only very basic information.
