Way too many gloves, sikta mountain gloves, windstopper gloves, glommits, 5 pair of merino gloves from sitka, FL, and Kuiu. Northstar gloves Sitka shooter gloves. Dont even get me started on boots and socks.....I have 5 sleeping bags/quilts. Its just me and my wife. I have a sawtooth, BA copper UL2 AND 3. And a kodiak canvas 10x10. 4 sleeping pads. 5 binos (for the record 3 are for sale). All the damn sitka, FL, and KUIU a guy could ever need....and its just me!!! My wife doesnt hunt. She does not even like to camp anymore unless its glamping or hotel. I need to have a blowout sale at a gun show or something. Yes my name is George....and i too have a problem.

On days when I'm expecting something on my front porch I conveniently beat my wife home. I feel good for about a week until she looks at the credit card account. Our last conversation went about like this.

Wife: What did you need on camofire this time?
Me: Socks. They are made by gore tex, the company that owns Sitka. I needed two pair.
Wife: Needed? Don't you already have two pair of Kuiu, two pair of Darn Tough, and a bunch of others for hunting.
Me: Uhhh, yeah. I wanted to test these out to see if they were any better.
Wife: Your going to sell the others on Rokslide though right.
Me: Who is going to buy used socks?

Wife storms away. My name is Taylor and I think I have a problem.

Anybody else have the Sitka shooter gloves, Sitka mountain gloves, Kuiu guide gloves, Kuiu yukon pro gloves, and the Kuiu northstar gloves? You never know when the right glove could make all the difference given the situation.

This will only be my second year of backpack hunting. I now have 4 shelters. I looked at the kifaru website this morning and got stuck there for like an hour just looking. I did NOT order a supertarp though, and I feel like that deserves some kind of acknowledgement of the progress I've made.

If that acknowledgement came in the form of a megatarp or seek outside I would be ok with that.

The light at the end of your tunnel is a train. The moment you sell your excess gear is the day you buy a 12 man tipi with mesh and stove. There is no cure...no 12 step program...you're addicted to gear. Embrace your fate.

Don't just keep adding more of the same gear for the same hunts, up your game and take up hunting a new critter. I was geared out for whitetails, ducks and turkeys so the only logical thing to do was start elk hunting. And everyone knows you can't hunt elk with whitetail gear, ask does her JC Penny's card work at Macy's? It's all about terms they understand.

Well thank you paypal, they sent me a statement of charges for last month and my wife saw it sending a email for me, then went deeper and pulled last year till current, that didn't go over well....
