Garmin watch for hunting

I recently got an Enduro 3 watch for overall fitness tracking and the ability to have some convenient features easily accessible while hunting. I have my inreach messenger linked and I saw that I can access the SOS from the watch, which I really like.

So my question is; for those that have this watch or even other garmin watches, what features do you find most useful while out hunting? Are there specific things you like on the watch face?

For example i currently have it show sunrise and sunset. I know for legal shooting only the times given by the state are valid, but I think having the times handy on my wrist would be helpful for making sure I'm where I want to be on time.

In my area, the wind rarely blows sidehill; it's almost always uphill and downhill, so I like to use the altimeter and stay at the same elevation as I approach an area where an animal might be, so my scent is less likely to give me away.

Compass is kind of cool instead of pulling out onyx or inreach. I get a reading and go x yards on y heading. Looking more for game instead of gaming,lol.

I’ve been using one paired with my Alpha 300i when chukar hunting so I can easily keep track of my dog using the watch. As far as features I like the heart rate monitor. Other than that I haven’t really dug into the other features but there are a lot and some seem like they’d be cool.

What I will say is I turned off the notifications (texts, calls, etc) from my phone since I dislike distractions. Tomorrow I need to disable all the different fitness goal notifications that seem to pop up showing complete during a long day of chukar hunting since those are also unwanted distractions.
