For the money, what's the best Garmin GPS I could buy?

The best thing you can do is be patient!

Garmin Gps units go on sale ALL the time. I picked up my Oregon 450, which is an awesome gps, for a little over 200 bucks off cabelas.

Wait for the sales, save your cabelas discount coupons, and you can get a good gps for a good price.

As for what the best garmin gps for the money is, one that has the ability to take a micro sd card! don't get one that wont accept a micro sd card. They seem like they are all pretty good otherwise.

I have the 655T Garmin, it's a touch screen, thought I'd hate it, it was a gift. Bottom line, best danged unit I've ever owned. Locks in where most wont & does it in seconds not minutes. Don't know how I ever survived without it! (grin)

been looking at the oregon 450 and dakota 20 going to buy a sd card for it didn't know if you could install the sd card and then view the map
off of the sd card on the pc like google earth and what gps unit would you recommend
