I just bought a Garmin 66i. The GPS coordinates are in DMM format. My thermal drone and ONX are in DD format. Can the Garmin 66i be changed to DD format so that all 3 match?

Thanks mtnbound. I guess you have to know how to ask. I refined my search and found this:

GPS coordinates can be displayed in different formats depending on the source or use. Garmin's default position format is h ddd° mm.mmm. You can change the way GPSMAP® 62, 64, 65, and 78 series of outdoor handhelds display the coordinates of your location by changing the position format.

To change the position format:

  1. Go to the Main Menu
  2. Choose Setup
  3. Choose Position Format
  4. Select the Position Format Box
  5. Select the position format you would like to use
The position format is now changed, and this format will now display all of the coordinates on the Garmin device. For more information on the position format options review the related content.

Although it does not list the 66 series, it worked the same.
