Question for you gap shooters. How much does one inch of arrow length change your gap. Hypothetically, let’s say my point on is 50 yards and my arrow length is 31”, assume a 500 grain arrow and moderate speed of 180 FPS. Now
If I increase arrow length to 32” what should I expect my point on distance to be?

I’m not looking for a precise answer just a close estimate, so no reason to dive into a deep analysis of arrow speed, weight, and all that stuff….

Where do you anchor? With a high anchor the amount it will change is small. With a low anchor the amount it will change is more.

To visualize this, picture if you were looking straight down the arrow like a shot gun. You could change it by a foot and the sight picture is the same.

In my experience with a relatively high anchor is it will change less than a couple yards.
