Fixed crawl problem- help a semi noob

One thing that might help with a higher anchor is using the fletch as a secondary anchor. This has helped my DL be more consistent and helped accuracy.

You don't HAVE to cant the bow....but to get the string in alignment you have to crank your head forward...put tension in your neck to keep your nose out of the way. (If you have a big schnoz like me, that will give you some neck stiffness after a long shooting session) I get a slightly more consistent DL with the bow vertical....but I do lose some arrows to the side more often if I lose form. I shoot both ways.

Some of the top shooters wear a piece of tape on the side of their nose when they shoot with a vertical bow- they really get the string up in there.

I shot 25y with a crawl yesterday- 1/2" was dead on at 25. No affect to the tune....arrows flew good but I didn't confirm with a bare shaft. My current point on is 35y. My old PO before I raised my anchor was 46y.....which did help on longer shots.
