Game laws that might mess you up.

In Pa. Trapping laws say no visible bait. So if you want to set a trail going to a dead deer how far away do I have to be? I have yet to get an answer from any wardens I have asked. There has to be a distance but no one knows it.

Going back to the antler length laws, NC gives no mercy for a small spike. Button bucks are considered anterless but any spikes, regardless of how short, are considered an antlered deer. "Visible antlers protruding through the skin" is the standard. Thankfully we get 2 buck tags but I know plenty of people who've burned one on a doe that they walked up to and found out was a spike.

In MI all firearms must be completely unloaded and in a case when in or on a motor vehicle. With the exception of pistols for CPL holders.
My Grandpa got a ticket for having his unloaded shotgun leaning on his car.
Thats on all lands? We have that on wma's.

I have seen someone get a ticket for a "loaded" gun with the bullets sitting next to the gun on tailgate. He said they need to be in a seperate pocket.
