Game bags

Have used caribou for years with a ton of critters. I bought some Forged bags last year because I thought the roll top and buckle seemed great and I stink at knot tying. Have yet to use them, they are heavier and don’t pack as small as my caribou bags. I wanted to try the stone glacier bags but they were sold out when I was shopping

I've been using the Orange Aglow bags -the reflective material is surprisingly useful in the the dark.
Pretty durable so far after 4 animals.

I bought a couple sets of elk size game bags from Rawhide Gear. They're really light and really big. I'm happy with them but they aren't what I would call durable. We packed a mule deer out, putting a front and rear quarter together in one bag. Both bags ended up with holes where the leg bones pushed/wore through the fabric. I'll patch them with some tenacious tape and just try use them gently in the future.

I don't bone out meat but prefer Caribou bags to the Argali. I've been using GoHunt bags this year and like them, not sure what their bones out bag situation is.

Edit to this: the GoHunt bags are too short to fully contain the rear quarter of a bull elk.

I thought they looked smaller, but it's still almost unbelievable to miss that in the design.

Said rear quarter also broke the cordage at the top when hung from a limb.

Average size five point bull, for reference.
