Just picked up a pair of Altra superior 3.5’s and man are they comfy.
The zero drop is really nice after hauling a pack all day in heavy boots, I can feel the back of my thighs loosen up while walking around in them.

They also come with a removable plastic insert for really rough terrain

There isn’t much to them, they are super airy and pack pretty flat. And a pair of big honking size 14’s weighs 24.2 oz, so probably much less for all you with little girl feet.

The nice part is I could see myself actually hunting in them, unlike crocs.

Yep, I wear the Superiors every day. If they fit your foot, they are great shoes. The zero drop just makes sense. Wish someone would make a good waterproof semi-stiff zero drop boot.
