I don't care for how the lid opens on the Outdoor Vision and much prefer the flip over lid of the Marsupial Gear. I do like the materials better with the Outdoor Vision and now see Marsupial came out with new materials for 2019. Both have pros and cons. Tried Kuiu and couldn't get over the stupidity on the design of the top straps going to the binos and not the harness.

So, I ended up purchasing an Outdoor Vision Ridgetop in multicam. It is a little bigger than I imagined and a little wide for my 10x42 vortex vipers but seems to make it easy to operate. The functionally is awesome. I do think they need to rename the fabric they are using to sirenhyde. The “silenthyde” is anything but... overall I am pretty happy with the harness.

Take a look at the Oregon Pack Works Bino Bro. Don't let the name stop you - I've tried several others and couldn't deal with the feeling of having a milk crate strapped to my chest. The OPW harness is light, comfortable, dang quiet and protects my glass really well. They have a unit with pockets although I like the minimalist model best. Made in USA and they have superb customer service as well.

They are about the same distance from your body when closed, when open the ADAK will stay extremely tight to your chest. The wings do cover more of your chest, so they will me a little hotter, but I don't think you would notice a difference. I will try to toss together a video on the ADAK this weekend.

The ADAK looks great but they missed the boat with those wings IMO. Lot of unnecessary chest coverage for us sweaty SOBs.
