I haven't heard of the seam sealer technique. It looks like you put four spot of it on the top and four on the bottom. Is that correct?

It is the only way to go with an inflatable pad if you are looking for a good nights sleep. There are more lines on top than there are on the bottom. But there are certainly many more of them than four. I will have to count for you tonight. They added less than an ounce in weight. I wouldn't even consider sleeping on an inflatable pad without the seam sealer to keep me from sliding off. I have been there far too many times.
