For the YoLink users….if I want 4 sensors for 4 freezers, do I need to add the hub?
Or to monitor do I just need the sensors and the app on my phone?
You will need one hub for the 4 sensors to connect to. The hub then sends the info to the app on your phone.

Earlier this year I took advantage of a Thermoworks discount on their Node with one port. The intent was to monitor the freezer and send an alert via wifi if needed. Setup was easy, the alerts worked fine.

My issue with it was for some reason which I fail to remember the details, the display would show the ambient temp instead of the freezer temp. Kinda useless when I walked past the freezer and couldn't see the freezer temp unless I pressed a button. I called Support about the issue, they acknowledged the problem, saying it might be fixed in the future with a firmware update. I wasn't taking that risk given the price and returned it.

I'll stick with my tried and true Thermowotks RT801 which always displays the freezer temp but only has an alarm in the unit itself. Not perfect, but good enough as the freezer is in my basement laundry room which is adjacent to my shop.

Interesting, mine alternates between the temps. I've had them for quite awhile and certainly over a year.

One final check before purchasing...
Those of you with the Yolink systems, are you still happy with them?

Yep. haven't had it for long (3 months?) but it's working great and sends a notice if anything is wrong. Our freezers are out in the garage and the hub is in the house which is about 50-60' away, no problem with connection.

@WyoKid

I am interested in the Mocreo, but I’m having a hard time figuring out exactly what components I need to order to monitor two freezers and my house temperature. The reply I got from their customer service was confusing.

Pretty straight forward. Start with the number of freezers you have. If 2, then you need 3 sensor probes - one for each freezer and the house. Next, determine if your freezers are more than 40 feet apart or 40 feet away from your wireless router. If so, get the wireless gateway.

In my case, 3 freezers so I needed 3 probes/sensors. Irrespective of the distance, I got the wireless gateway, which functions as a wireless repeater so your sensors can be farther away. The gateway essentially communicates with all sensors/probes and then sends it to your wifi. The gateway way also has its own audible and visual alarm to let you know if one of the sensors show an out of range temperature, disconnected signal, or power outage.

It was expensive but the gateway is important if you have multiple freezers.

Here is screen shot of what I see on my phone with using the gateway hub. You can also look at daily, weekly, monthly and yearly temp history.
