Hell, I am getting new everything (new to the concept.). I just bought a new Sawtooth/stove and Nomad pack w/add-ons. Still need some clothing items, sleep system and water system. BTW--I've saved a good while and worked a LOTTA overtime to get 'er done. Learned a lot, my first trips will be interesting. I'll soon see how well my reasearch and planning fit the real world. Should be cool.

Planning on a clothing overhaul, primarily merino layers including FL briefs. May be adding a FL puffy vest. Already picked up a North Branch jacket. Already got my packs so that I could get the kinks worked out over the summer. Plan on picking up a Kifaru Gun Bearer and some game bags (something like TAG BOMB Pack).

The only thing I really need for this season is some light weight game bags. TAG would be great, but I'm reluctant to pay that much!

Got binos, boots, and scope so far this year. Still planning on a pack, FL puffy, rain gear, kanab 2.0, corrugate pants, jet boil, and kill kit. Basically a complete overhaul.

Rangefinder upgrade and a Kestrel, for me. And another pair of boots to try out. And if I could buy time to be in the hills, I'd be working on a loan application instead of looking at Rokslide.

I am planning on upgrading my backcountry tent and sleeping bag this year. I am also switching to first lite for my future clothing purchases.

I'm going to be adding some new binos here in the next couple of weeks. I've been trying to decide between a few of the $1000-1200 binos for almost a year. I've been going back and forth over and over again and I finally decided that Swarovski slc's are absolutely worth the extra money over the $1000-1200 optics.

Agreed! I spent some time comparing the swaro line and my razor 12x50s. A few hundred more to go from a razor to a SLC is well worth it. The jump to the EL is questionable unless you get a smoking deal

I'm looking for clothes: base layers, rain gear, pants; will also be looking for a high quality GPS, camera, and optics.

Oh what the hell----i'll jump in. Looking at going the quilt route with a tarp.
And whatever else makes me win some swag:rolleyes:

Randy

Think I'm finally going to upgrade my binos to alpha glass and add some new merino base layers to my wardrobe.
Thanks

Planning my first antelope hunt this year. And never having a need for anything more than my 10x25 nikons, I've been trying to hunt down a used pair of Vortex Viper HD's in 8x42.
But I'm open to new also, can't be too picky ya know.
